PROVIDENCE — Anticipating $39.7 million in Hardest Hit Fund foreclosure prevention money from the U.S. Treasury Department, in addition to the $9.68 million award announced in February, Rhode Island Housing plans to hire 19 temporary employees for up to 36 months to help people avoid foreclosure and stabilize the housing market.
